Have you ever felt like a part of you wasn’t welcome in worship? Perhaps you went to church on a Sunday after the death of a loved one or a friend’s cancer diagnosis, but the upbeat songs and sunny message seemed to leave little room for that grief and anger you felt.
This Thursday during chapel we will be having our third “worship across” service exploring how we worship across the wide range of human experience and emotion. The service will be built around the range of emotions modeled for us in the Psalms, and Rev. Dr. D. Darrell Griffin of Oakdale Covenant Church will be preaching on his own pastoral experience in helping people bring their whole selves before God in worship.
There will be a lunch Q&A following in Olsson Lounge (with some great food!), so please join us!
