Join us for chapel this Thursday, March 1st, at 11 am.
We have a very special chapel in store this week as we continue to observe Lent. This weeks service is coordinated by our field education department. Our preacher this week will be Rev. Melanie Tornquist who is the lead chaplain at Swedish Covenant Hospital. Her sermon text is Genesis 16 and it is titled “God Who Sees”.
The lunch forum after chapel will focus on the CPE experience. Sharing insights will be Chaplain Tornquist as well as the following: Dr. Brian Madvig (of Arbor Clinical Associates) who supervises the student chaplains who do the summer CPE equivalency at Swedish Covenant Hospital. Also offering input will be Baily Warman who was a student in last summer’s Swedish Covenant Hospital program. If you are at all interested in the CPE experience or would like more information this is a great time to join us for lunch!
