Chapel Corner…May 3rd

Please Join us for chapel this Thursday, May 3rd at 11:00 am

It’s our last chapel of the year! We pray that chapel this year has been a great time of renewal for your soul and has helped bring you closer to the heart of Christ and the heart of our community. I know we have certainly been blessed to plan and coordinate chapel this year and it is our hope that you have been blessed as well. Thank you to everyone who has helped our common work as a community in worship this year. For anyone who read scripture, greeted, offered forth prayer, helped with communion, baked bread, contributed their musical gifts or simply came to join in the liturgy, you have all helped make chapel a beautiful time of communal work to the worship of our Lord.

It is in that spirit that our last chapel for the year will be coordinated by some of our very own seminary students in Dean Deb Auger’s Intercultural Spirituality class. They have planned the whole experience for us and it promises to be a wonderful time. If you have been unable to join us for any of the services this year, we would love to have you this week. I know schedules are hard right now with final coursework due, but this will be a great time for rejuvenation and refreshment of the soul. Please consider joining us as we take a break from studies to rest in the Lord together and find peace in celebrating our community in him.

Also, our community lunch to follow will be a time to honor our graduating class as we share a meal together. If you are part of the graduating class, we encourage you to try and make it out so we can honor you!
