This week we are starting Advent a few days early, a season where we wait in the darkness and wait, prepare, and hope for the promised future of God’s coming reign. But while many of us fear the darkness, is it really something we should flee? Come hear Dave Bjorlin give a defense of the darkness–that place, as the poet Theodore Roethke says, where “the eye begins to see.”
Community lunch will be held after chapel in Olsson Lounge.
We only have two chapels left for the semester, take advantage of this opportunity to worship together as a seminary community.
