Please join us this Thursday, October 11th for Chapel at 11:00
Chapel this week will be led by our Student Association. This service will be different from our usual structure. Rather than remaining in our chapel space, we will be taking the time to participate in a prayer walk around campus. We will begin and end in the chapel space, but after convening we will move onto other stations throughout campus. We will have groups going through times of guided prayer throughout these stations. At the end we will reconvene in the chapel space to close this time of prayer.
It is our hope that during this time we will not only lift up prayers of praise and thanksgiving to our Lord, but prayers of lament and petition for change. As we traverse around campus, we will be lifting our campus community up to God in prayer, both the University and the Seminary; praising God for that which is good and healthy and lamenting and calling out for that which needs healing. It is always the desire that chapel be a place where we learn, as a seminary, to live in close Kingdom community with one another. The physical geographic space that community inhabits is important, so please join us in physically wandering our space with the Lord and inviting God to be active where he is already present.
As always lunch will be held afterward in Magnuson.
