Hispanic Summer Program Exchange Event
For this sixth HSP Exchange, we are delighted to welcome HSP Faculty member, Through Hispanic Eyes facilitator, and Iona College Faculty Member and Chair, Dr. Teresa Delgado.
Dr. Teresa Delgado’s Exchange lecture will expose the centuries of white supremacist settler colonialism and racism that have led to the current environmental crisis, where Black and Brown people across the globe bear the greatest burden. She will invite Exchange participants to consider modes of being in relationship with the planet and each other that do not reinscribe extractive and exploitative practices.
If you would like to be part of this event, please RSVP by November 1, 2021.
Zoom invite will be sent to RSVP’d guests on November 2, 2021.
