Spend the Summer in Bethlehem

There is a volunteer opportunity of 1-3 months with Bethlehem Bible College (BBC).  This exits through a collaborative between BBC and The Evangelical Covenant Church Serve Globally Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region. This special project helps to financially support the college through the profit from the guesthouse. It also offers international guests a great starting point from which to learn the issues of the area, travel, explore, return home shaped in new ways by God and with many great memories. This work requires cultural sensitivity and requires being a warm host and helpful guide for all visitors.   As workload of the guesthouse waxes and wanes, volunteers are encouraged to serve in other capacities in the college as well. Possibilities include teaching English, working in the bookstore, serving as a handyman or driver, among others. Days off are included, giving the volunteer time to explore the diverse and historically-rich region and make friends in the larger Muslim and Jewish communities. Want to know more? Please email Jeff and Darlene Anderson, Regional Coordinators-Serve Globally-MENA at menarc@covchurch.org for more information or call Jeff @ 612.513.6261.
