PROCRASTINATORS ANONYMOUS

It is that time of year again. Want to stay on top of your homework AND build community? Study with Procrastinators Anonymous! In these dynamic study sessions, we either discuss study skills (such as notetaking and following the rubric) or break into small groups to catch up on reading, discuss class content, or build community. This space will be what the group desires and needs for it to be. We meet in front of the writing center (inside the library) weekly. Meetings are held Wednesdays and Fridays from 11am-1pm and begin on August 31st.  Questions? Email Antonio Pizarro, Assistant Director of the Writing Center at apizarro@northpark.edu.

The First Month

Life Together This Fall

As we embrace the change from summer to fall, so we seek to embrace the many transitions at NPTS. In this new season, we look forward with a deep sense of anticipation. As a faculty/staff, we are excited about reimagining community life on campus this semester and establishing some rhythms as we continue to emerge from pandemic restrictions. I am thrilled to lay out a framework for opportunities to connect, eat, worship, rest, and play with one another this fall! We hope you will join us.

On September 7th, 12:30 pm-2:00 pm, the Student Government Association, University Ministries, and the Student Activities Office will host the Chicago Fair. Nonprofit partner organizations will be at this fair to introduce themselves to students and explain to those interested how they can get involved.

We will be joined by the following organizations and initiatives:

The Chicago Fair will take place near Sohlberg Hall on Christiana. An ice cream truck will be there to provide free ice cream for all attendees. We will move the event indoors to Hamming Hall if it rains that day. If you are a student participating for class credit, please make sure you sign in at the event.
