Community Lunch

Lunch this last week was great. Weather permitting, join us at noon after virtual chapel, for an outdoor BYO community lunch right outside of the seminary building!

Bring a packed lunch and a blanket or chair. Enjoy some fresh air and each other’s company! We will spread out on the grass outside around Nyvall, keeping safe physical distancing.

Toiletries Drive

North Park University is collecting toiletries items for our Chicago neighbors in need. We need the following items:
Shampoo/Conditioner/Soap
Toothpaste/Toothbrushes
Hand Sanitizer
Razors
Lotion
Sanitary Pads
Tissues/Wipes

New, unused items will be collected by Service day, October 7th, and will go to Care for Real, a Chicago organization that provides free, essential supplies for people in need. If you are your family are experiencing financial hardship and could use toiletries, contact Pastor Laura to arrange a bag for pickup. Contact Pastor Laura with questions.

Walking for Wellness

Are you looking to connect with others? Are you seeking to move more as part of your self- care as you begin this semester? We have the solution! This Fall we are facilitating “Walking for Wellness” to help with communal connection and wellness. Interested folks will be paired up with one other person after which you will determine your schedule and frequency of walking. The first walking pair to reach 50 combined miles will receive a picnic basket with goodies including fresh baguettes, fresh fruit, yummy cheeses and crackers. Lace up those sneakers and get walking!
