Fall Registration and Student Life

With the days lengthening, the temperatures rising, and the number of vaccinations given increasing we have much to look forward to as we anticipate the start of the new academic year in August 2021!

First, registration in Self Service is open! You can also see the full NPTS Fall 2021 schedule here. Please note: Christian Ethics, Greek 1, and Greek Exegesis are available to online students via synchronous class meetings. As always, reach out to your academic advisor with questions. If you need a refresher on how to register for courses through Self-Service, please refer to this tutorial video provided by NPU’s Center for Online Education.

For those on campus, one of the modifications we will be implementing is our chapel and meal times. Classes are clustered on Tuesdays and Thursdays to allow for as much community gathering as possible. In the fall, we will shift Chapel into the evenings. We will begin at 5 with an early dinner, gathered around the table for connecting and fellowship. That will be followed by chapel for worship and to frequently gather around the Lord’s Table.

In addition, we will gather for a time of prayer and coffee (or tea) on Tuesday mornings at 10:45. These gatherings will take place in Olsson Lounge and will be opportunities to hear our concerns as we bring our lives before God and one another.

After this year of being separated by space and connecting on screens we look ahead in hope for opportunities to gather in body, mind, and spirit to build our relationships and community. Distance learners, Conference Cohorts, and SRA Cohort students, we can not wait to see you in person this year! We hope you will join us in community building, chapel, worship, and our life together no matter where you are located. If you have ideas or want to get involved, please reach out to Dean Deb dauger@northpark.edu or Emily Wagner eawagner@northpark.edu. In the meantime, let’s hold one another in prayer as we seek to finish this semester well!
