Advocates for Victims of Abuse (AVA) Training

The seminary student association and ECC’s Women Ministries have partnered together to offer the denomination’s AVA (Advocates for Victims of Abuse) training. AVA seeks to help all persons recognize abuse, to support the abused, and to give language to speak about abuse for advocates and survivors alike. This training is appropriate for pastors, youth ministry staff, seminarians, small group leaders, childcare workers, and volunteers at all levels.

The training will take place on Saturday, March 24 from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm in Nyvall Hall. This training is free to all who register and is open to all seminary students, spouses, or broader community members interested. Lunch will be provided.

To register, please email Women Ministries at wmc@covchurch.org. If you’re a seminary student or spouse, please also let SA president Mackenzie Mahon know at mamahon@northpark.edu

Did you know you can watch our past chapel services online?!

We had a great Women in Ministry chapel service the week before break.  If you missed it or any others and would like to watch, you can do so on our Digital Archives page.   They are organized by date and speaker. You will also find lectures from this last year available to watch.

Common Ground Worship

Our next community night of worship is coming up on March 24, from 7-9 pm in Isaacson Chapel. We hope to see you there!

Upcoming G&D Meetings
